Converting a Top 10 Builder to
ENERGY STAR® 

 Arcxis was pleased to support a top 10 builder whose daily
work and future vision center on innovation and
environmental responsibility. As part of this commitment, the
builder set a goal to achieve ENERGY STAR® certification
and secure the 45L tax credit across their entire portfolio—
spanning multiple brands and operations in 15 states. The
associated inspections and certifications would demonstrate
their commitment to energy efficiency and quality.
To navigate the complexities of the different plans,
components, and climate zones, this builder partnered with
Arcxis to develop energy models across the nation to
identify the most cost-effective paths to ENERGY STAR
certification. This initiative required the collaboration of
numerous internal and external stakeholders. Arcxis was
